Life at the boarding school

Our private boarding school in France will be a place for your child to work, to relax and to thrive.

Our priority is their safety, comfort and well-being.

Excellencia offers a place to live and work which allows your child to concentrate on their studies and to boost their progress. Their safety and their comfort are our top priorities. Life at the boarding school (accommodation, meals, trips etc.) guarantees a friendly living experience, creating a family feeling amongst the boarders.

For more than 20 years, we have welcomed children and teenagers to our campus for language programmes and study vacation programmes during the holidays. Our main objective has always been to create an environment dedicated to discovery, adventure and imagination, and in which children feel at home.

Quality accommodation

Your child will stay in a dormitory (with 2 to 4 children per room) allocated according to their personality and character. The rooms will be fully-equipped for your child’s well-being: spacious, well-ventilated and comfortably furnished.

The bedrooms are spread throughout the annex buildings of the mansion, situated in the heart of the wooded 5 hectare grounds. The girls’ and boys’ buildings are separate. Only members of staff have access to all of the buildings for security reasons.

Catering: varied and balanced meals

Mealtimes are important for relaxation and conversation at Excellencia. The students are served in a buffet style in the dining room, or outside if the weather is nice, and they are under constant supervision by the staff. Your child can choose from a wide range of foods (bread, cereals, hot drinks, dairy products, cold meats, eggs, seasonal fruits, etc.) at breakfast. At lunchtime and at dinner, they have a choice between 8 and 10 starters from the buffet (both hot and cold) and different main courses.

Weekend activities

Our school is a permanent residence throughout the year. The boarders have a compulsory supervised study period on Saturday mornings but the rest of the weekend revolves around rest, relaxation, leisure activities and team building. Therefore, extra-curricular activities and trips are organised for Saturday afternoons and for Sundays.

These include :

  • Trips to Paris, Dormans, Epernay, Reims, Disneyland Paris…
  • Cultural visits to museums in both Paris and the Champagne region,
  • Trips to the theatre, cinema, bowling alley or skating rink,…
  • Picnics on the bank of the River Marne and barbecues in the evening.
